Dyslexia

Have you ever received a text message that looked a bit like a puzzle? I see them quite often from my best friend.

At first, I didn't get it. But then I realized: for him, the world of words looks very different because he has dyslexia.

Imagine letters that won't stay still. They float, shift, and dance across the page, making every sentence a unique challenge to decode.

It can mean spelling is tricky, reading takes more time, and finding the right word feels like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Dyslexia is a learning difference in reading and writing. It’s important to know it has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence or how smart someone is.

Because of his sincerity. It doesn't hurt our friendship. We have known each other since our university life. Over 5 years, we still have endless topics once he comes back to the UK.

Watching him work through these challenges has taught me so much about patience and the true meaning of perseverance.

I’m so grateful to know him. He brings a perspective to my life that I never would have seen without him.

Dyslexia is a testament to the diverse ways our minds work. Let's celebrate neurodiversity together.
